Sr. Software Engineer - Front-End
About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer - Front-End to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will focus on building engaging, high-performing web experiences that support the customer journey and drive product engagement in a consumer-facing environment. You will partner closely with product and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into polished front-end solutions, while maintaining strong code quality, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate brings deep modern JavaScript expertise and a track record of delivering maintainable, high-quality applications that perform well in a fast-moving retail setting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and provide constructive feedback
- Implement features with clean, maintainable code
- Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and automated unit tests
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product engagement
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience, focusing on front-end technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Experience with Storybook for UI component development
- Strong understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance web applications
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus

Pay
$125,000 – $200,000 annually
