About the role
This role is ideal for a self-starter who can jump in quickly and deliver with little direction, comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving team, able to identify gaps, anticipate needs, and take ownership of solutions, and a strong problem solver who can adapt as requirements evolve.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new backend features
- Maintain and improve infrastructure for a cloud-based Kubernetes application
- Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Support integration of scientific software and algorithms into production systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software development experience
- Strong experience with Kubernetes deployment and administration
- Linux systems administration experience
- Experience working with Docker containers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field

- PostgreSQL, SQL, PostGIS
- Golang and Python programming
