Sr Software Engineer - Cloud (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Back-End engineer to be part of our Identity product group. In this role, you will be part of the cloud product software engineering team, responsible for developing new features and working closely with other teams such as UI and Sensor. This is a hybrid role and will require the ability to work 2 days per week from one of our offices in New York, NY, Sunnyvale CA, Redmond WA, or Austin TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for large, distributed systems in a team-centric environment
• Contribute to a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting and mentor junior engineers
• Manage competing priorities and bring order to ambiguous scenarios
• Communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbally) across the organization and up to senior leadership
• Apply a growth mindset to continuously improve and innovate

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Go, Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 4+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
• Experience building cloud-deployed applications
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes
• BS/BE in CS or related field
• Ability to work well with a group of senior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Pay

The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.

Schedule

Hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in one of the following offices: New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; Redmond, WA; or Austin, TX.
