Responsibilities
- Works as part of a larger Agile software development team to rapidly provide operational capabilities to the field
- Develops software that is heavily used by US Special Operations Forces (SOF) with a high demand for additional features
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
- Defines software/and or system architecture, design software modules, and produce associated documentation per corporate or customer standards
- Ensures software standards are met
- Writes and tests software modules and integrates with other software and/or hardware components
Requirements
- You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C# programming languages
- Development experience in C# ASP.NET Core
- Ability to rapidly work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large teams
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- We Prefer:
- Hands-on experience or demonstrated passion for agentic AI to enhance software‑development workflows, accelerate coding and integration tasks, and/or improve the overall efficiency and quality of engineering processes
- Experience working in the Defense Industry
- Development experience in Javascript, Typescript with Frameworks like REACT
- Advanced knowledge of the Android Platform and SDK (Software Development Kit)
- Integration experience with the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem
- Extensive experience implementing mission-oriented Tactical Data Link protocols such as Variable Message Format (VMF) and Link 16
- Essential Functions:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
- Hand/finger dexterity for coding and testing
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel
