Sr Software Engineer

Job Summary

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements, designing solutions with maintainability and ease of integration, and maintaining principal architecture integrity.

Responsibilities

• Ensures software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
• Develops and delivers complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies
• Provides technical thought leadership through multiple software implementations and application of depth and breadth in technical competencies
• Delivers end-to-end solution design and delivery
• Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver requirements/stories per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers
• Mentors other software engineers and coaches team on CI/CD practices and automating tool stack
• Executes story refinement, requirement definition, and estimates work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
• Performs spike/proof of concept to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Automates manual release activities
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solid experience as Software Engineer
• Experience in multiple frontend and backend languages (Python, Ansible, Java, Bash scripting)
• Deep understanding of data structures and object-oriented programming principles
• Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL
• Application development methodologies and infrastructure
• Analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in CI/CD and automated software testing
