Sr. Software Engineer - ANH
About the Role
As a Senior Professional, Software Engineering, you will design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new software features that meet user needs and business goals, while also upgrading existing software to improve performance and functionality. This role involves writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, and participating in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Lead the application of internal software deployment platforms, methodologies, and tools to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Write and maintain complex unit tests and integration tests, and perform debugging to uphold software quality and performance.
- Suggest and implement improvements for software development and deployment processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for software applications, deployment processes, and system configurations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications to minimize downtime and ensure fast resolution.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience, typically reflecting 5 years or more.
- Demonstrated backend software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Front-end experience with TypeScript and React, including custom hooks and reusable components, using MUI or a similar component library for forms and data grids.
- Preferred experience:
- Building and integrating REST APIs, including calling third-party systems with WebClient or similar HTTP clients.
- Building dynamic queries and filtering over large datasets with Spring Data JPA.
- Strong foundation in relational databases, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL, including data model design.
- Writing batch jobs that process large volumes of data, ideally with Spring Batch.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous and event-driven systems, including Kafka, SQS, or similar messaging frameworks.
- Integrating with SAP.
- Developing, integrating, or enabling AI-driven and agentic solutions.
- Working with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps delivery practices.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
This position requires onsite (hybrid) presence at our Wayzata, MN Office Center. The business will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
Pay
The expected salary for this position is $140,000 - $160,000. Compensation varies depending on factors including location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
