Sr Software Development Engineer , Amazon Connect, Resource Configuration

About the role

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to lead our Resource Configuration initiatives. The role involves developing new customer-facing features, scaling our infrastructure, designing and delivering complex migrations, and mentoring and coaching other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Developing new customer-facing features for Amazon Connect Customer
• Solving real customer problems through design and delivery of scalable, resilient systems
• Leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Designing and delivering complex migrations
• Mentoring and coaching other engineers

Requirements

• Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Experience as a developer owning code end-to-end from design to development

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Skills

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Experience as a developer owning code end-to-end from design to development

Pay

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

• USA, NY, New York - 184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, Seattle - 168,100.00 - 227,400.00 USD annually
