This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of contact center technology, working on highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems while maintaining a strong customer focus.

You will own code end-to-end, from design to development, and collaborate with senior technical leaders across AWS. The role involves working across the stack with modern web technologies, service-oriented architecture, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable, resilient systems for the next generation of cloud-based contact centers.
  • Own code end-to-end, from architecture and design to implementation and operations.
  • Collaborate with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
  • Work across the stack with technologies involving modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, and Big Data.
  • Maintain a constant focus on customer needs and experience.
  • Mentor and lead engineering teams, contributing to best practices in coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Pay

Base salary range: $184,900 - $250,200 USD annually (for New York, NY). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
