About the role

Senior Salesforce Developers at MetroStar are expected to lead hands-on development, architect scalable solutions, and provide technical guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hands-on Salesforce development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative capabilities.
  • Architect scalable, secure Salesforce solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Implement and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and platform events.
  • Design and implement data models, security architecture, and role-based access controls.
  • Define and enforce development standards, code quality practices, and CI/CD approaches.
  • Troubleshoot advanced performance, integration, and production issues across all environments.
  • Lead technical discussions in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Make architectural and technical decisions, weighing trade-offs and providing recommendations to leadership.
  • Support release planning, deployment coordination, and environment management.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support audit and compliance efforts.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Masters degree and 10 years of Salesforce development experience, OR Bachelors degree and 12+ years of Salesforce Development experience
  • Extensive Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and enterprise-level integrations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and development best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable, maintainable system architectures and lead technical execution
  • Experience mentoring developers and leading technical teams
  • Proficiency with version control and CI/CD concepts

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including: The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience, the specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs, internal equity, and alignment with current team compensation.
