About the role

The “Self-Serve Data Extract” (“SSDE”) tool is a new brand within NEXEN Gateway designed to enhance Client Information Delivery capabilities and reporting requirements. It allows clients to create customized data extracts for machine-to-machine data transfer, reducing dependency on technology and streamlining the process.

Responsibilities

• Design application using Java, J2EE, Spring, micro services architecture, Hibernate, IBM Symphony Data Grid, Exadata, and Oracle Coherence.
• Develop and implement FXRS applications for forwards and options trade data loads from Fenics, Calypso, and FTRB using Java, J2EE, micro service architecture, Spring, Hibernate, Exadata, and Shell scripting.
• Develop Java applications to calculate Market Timing Value (MTM), Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA), and Profit and Loss (PNL) for FXRS and Quant applications.
• Design, develop, and implement processes to copy daily forwards/options trade data and market data into Exadata DB using Oracle Coherence and Unix shell scripts.
• Front-end development using AngularJS 5+ and Angular 4.0+, backend and middleware development using J2EE (Spring Boot/ Spring Security and Java).
• Work on backend RESTful services using Spring Boot-based microservices.
• Perform Oracle SQL profiling, query optimization, and performance enhancement on database objects like views, stored procedures.
• Provide POC and SEO solutions, assist in designing, refactoring, and unit testing, and identify technical tasks from functional design documents.
• Implement TDD and BDD approaches with emphasis on unit/integration/acceptance testing using Mockito, Jasmine, Protractor test tools.
• Ensure product code quality through code coverage tools like SonarQube, JSHint, and Git version control system.
• Create automated Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD to S3 instances, participate in and support build, deployment, and testing cycles.
• Handle systems evaluation, operations analysis, monitoring, and systems analysis, including identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance.
• Conduct systems evaluation, operations analysis, and monitor/systems analysis using Kibana/Logstash to determine system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
