Sr. Software Developer

Overview

The developer, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, will support the full lifecycle development (analyze, design, develop, deploy, maintain) of innovative and interactive web, video, and multimedia training products. The individual will be responsible for product research, programming/authoring, interface design, testing, and quality control. Products also include web‑based training, SharePoint sites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products.

Responsibilities

• Support full‑lifecycle development of web, video, and multimedia training products.
• Conduct product research, programming/authoring, and interface design.
• Perform testing and quality control for all deliverables.
• Develop and maintain web‑based training, SharePoint sites, websites, multimedia applications, video productions, graphic design, and print products.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and services such as S3 and EC2.
• Knowledge of Apache Webserver and Apache Tomcat.
• Development languages: Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with VS Code.
• Configuring, implementing, and maintaining Enterprise Application Auditing Tool, Enterprise Application MFA Solution (OAuth), and Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Bash scripting skills.
• Developing and supporting automation and orchestration processes for IAM services.
• Understanding of IAM governance frameworks, platforms, RBAC, group policy management, and privileged access management (PAM) tools.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise with AWS infrastructure security and access controls.
• Proven ability to adapt equipment and technology to serve user needs and design solutions.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non‑technical individuals, including teaching navigation of GitHub, Linux‑based OS, and AWS services such as S3 and EC2.
• Understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.
• At least ten (10) years of experience executing software development activities, supported by a relevant bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering).
