Sr. Site Reliability Automation Engineer

About the role

Design and implement automation platforms supporting self-healing and auto-remediation frameworks. Develop backend services and automation tools primarily in Python and Go. Build and maintain monitoring using Monitoring-as-a-Code practices. Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
• 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
• Strong programming experience in Python or Go
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and distributed systems architecture
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including MS Azure and Private Cloud
• Experience defining and maintaining SLOs and error budgets
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Strong knowledge of databases and messaging systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, SQS)
• Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams
