About the role
The Sr. Site Installation Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day field execution of mechanical, electrical, and controls installation activities within active operational environments. This position combines hands-on field leadership with supervisory responsibility for labor deployment, production planning, safety, budget awareness, and weekly schedule coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on daily supervision of field crews and subcontractors.
- Lead daily task planning, crew assignments, and short-interval execution sequencing.
- Monitor labor performance, installation productivity, and expenses against plan.
- Support weekly cost-to-complete discussions and provide field input for budget forecasting.
- Participate in and help lead weekly schedule meetings, look-ahead planning, and trade coordination sessions.

Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of baggage handling system (BHS) project installation, retrofit, or expansion experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading mechanical, electrical, and controls field teams in active airport environments.
- Strong working knowledge of phased installations, shutdown planning, tie-ins, and live operational cutovers.
- Proven ability to monitor labor budgets, forecast field production, and support cost-to-complete reporting.
- Experience facilitating weekly schedule meetings, look-ahead planning, and subcontractor coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, installation packages, and commissioning plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication with client, and field decision-making skills.
- Serve as the field safety leader, reinforcing a zero-incident culture through daily pre-task planning, toolbox talks, permit compliance, and active workplace observations.
- Ensure all crews and subcontractors comply with company safety policies, airport badging requirements, OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and site-specific operational protocols.
- Lead incident prevention efforts through proactive hazard identification, near-miss reporting, corrective actions, and stop-work authority when unsafe conditions exist.
- Ability to travel up to 80-90% as per business needs; including extended periods.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain airport security badges, and airside driving privileges.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to support travel between project sites, warehouse/staging facilities, and airport airside access requirements.
