Responsibilities

  • Service top of rail and gauge face lubricator units to specified guidelines.
  • Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
  • Uses logic and methods to solve problems to find effective solutions.
  • Understand and adhere to general railroad and Loram operating rules.
  • Manage inventory held on maintenance vehicle through company processes.
  • Plans work based on length and task difficulty, develop schedules, and anticipate and adjust for problems to meet objectives.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Process work orders and complete all necessary delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns through approved company processes.
  • Proactively resolve customer issues.
  • Build customer and supplier relations for improved products and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts on customer railroads and to manage service and quality expectations.
  • Work with Sales Department to ensure customer expectations are met.

Qualifications

  • Required: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role, 2+ years working in a railroad environment, Basic computer skills, Class A CDL License, Maintain railroad safety training and certifications, Currently holds and be able to maintain a DOT medical card.
  • PREFERRED: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical.

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $50,800-$71,100.

Schedule

100% travel, using any method of transportation. Adequate transportation to and from.
