Sr Semiconductor Mfg Engineer
About the role
Join a team that develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of semiconductors. You will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes pertaining to semiconductors and determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. Maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
As a Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead semiconductor manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, driving continuous improvement, and optimizing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop software and hardware to test digital ASICs for validation and production testing.
- Vector and pattern translation and generation.
- Debugging and technical problem solving to create production test programs.
- Understand the design details of the component and implement tests to ensure the product meets specifications.
- Develop test plans to define product characteristics and issues to determine corrective actions and improvements.
- Develop documentation including operating procedures, work instructions, and training.
- Hands-on, floor support of IC manufacturing, problem resolution, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 3+ years of industry experience in development and product test position.
- 3+ years of industry experience in electronics, circuits, and software development.
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Security Clearance.
We value:
- Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering preferred.
- Experience with Teradyne automated test equipment, wafer probers, and temperature forcers.
- Strong understanding of Digital Testing of Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs).
- Strong understanding of digital vector generation and translation techniques.
- Software development experience: Visual Basic, C#, LabView, Python.
- Understanding of semiconductor test concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong mechanical skills, fixture development experience, and knowledge.
- Good hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in continuous improvement projects related to Cost Savings, Quality, Productivity, Escape prevention, and Inventory Reduction.

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $111,000–$138,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
Schedule
This role is based at our Plymouth, MN location on an on-site work schedule.
