Sr Security Engineer, Cyber Threat Intelligence
About the role
This role is essential for protecting digital assets and maintaining the integrity of cybersecurity infrastructure within the organization. It involves developing and implementing security strategies, tools, and technologies to defend against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. The role focuses on proactive risk identification and deployment of mitigation measures to safeguard systems and data. Success is measured by the effectiveness of security improvements and alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The work enhances organizational resilience to cyber incidents and supports overall security posture for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements advanced security strategies, tools, and technologies to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Identifies proactively security risks and deploys effective mitigation measures to safeguard the company's systems and data
- Collaborates with various IT and business teams to align cybersecurity measures with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Enhances the company's resilience to cyber incidents through expertise and dedicated cybersecurity practices
- Maintains the integrity of cybersecurity infrastructure by monitoring and upgrading security systems as needed
- Conducts regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Participates in other duties or projects as assigned by business management
Requirements
At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States. Travel is required for this role.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Information Technology (required)
- 4-7 years experience with security related software and/or business process design (preferred)
- 4-7 years experience in technical project management and leading cross-functional solution design teams (preferred)
- 4-7 years expertise in network information security, including Firewall policy design, SSL Certificate management, and vulnerability analysis mitigation (preferred)
- 4-7 years of hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms and security tooling, including OpenCTI/Filigran administration, SIEM/SOAR integration development, and scripting for intelligence enrichment, data normalization, and workflow automation (preferred)
- 4-7 years of expertise in cyber threat intelligence tradecraft, including structured threat actor tracking, adversary TTP analysis using MITRE ATT&CK, and finished intelligence production across strategic, operational, and tactical levels (preferred)
- 4-7 years of experience operating within multi-functional security environments, including intelligence requirements development using the GIR/PIR/EEI model, team member engagement across incident response and security operations, and participation in external intelligence-sharing communities (preferred)

Pay
The base pay range for this role is $103,400 - $186,400. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year (e.g., 15% target for this role). Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
