Sr. Scrum Master (FTE / Onsite)
NTT DATA is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is an onsite, full-time position supporting Agile delivery and ensuring alignment with Wells Fargo Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Support Agile delivery to provide business value and ensure quality results, managing capacity and mitigating risk.
- Facilitate Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams.
- Ensure the flow of work is systemically managed to deliver value efficiently, partnering with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy backlog.
- Perform and share regular Agile team health checks, enabling continuous improvement.
- Protect the team from distractions and resolve impediments to maximize performance.
- Work with the Product Owner to communicate delivery progress and escalate risks or issues affecting team effectiveness.
- Establish, communicate, and monitor product-area goals and performance indicators.
- Facilitate frequent collaboration between stakeholders.
- Actively own the prioritization of a clearly defined product backlog aligned with product vision and goals.
- Coordinate with other Product Owners to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Define and refine user stories, including business readiness stories, ensuring clear acceptance criteria.
- Ensure all known work is transparent and added to the backlog, maintaining a healthy hierarchy (Story → Feature → Epic).
- Accept user stories once they meet acceptance criteria and the definition of done.
- Actively participate in all product area events.
- Identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas.
- Inspire and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Be available to the team to answer questions and address escalated impediments.
- Maintain continuous communication with the product manager and delivery teams.
- Coordinate with business analysts, delivery coordinators, POs, and shared supporting roles.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
- Experience with workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence and Jira.
- Experience with human-centered design principles.
- Strong risk management and dependency management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all organizational levels, including senior executive leadership.
- Ability to influence and lead organizational changes in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships.
- Experience working with and leading delivery teams.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore optimal solutions.
Pay
The starting pay range for this role is $83,520.00 to $125,280.00. Actual compensation will depend on relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
