About the role
Biosciences is seeking a flow cytometrist with experience in flow cytometry sorting to test prototype sorters.
Responsibilities
- Authoring test plans, protocols, and reports
- Executing testing following defined quality processes
- Collaborating with engineers, scientists, and outside vendors to ensure adequate test coverage and address defects
- Exercising independent judgment and applying solution thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting
- Communicating quickly regarding system defects and working actively towards resolutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field
- 5 years of general flow cytometry experience
- 2 years of sorting flow cytometry experience
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting flow cytometers
- Experience with sample prep and experiment design for multi-parameter flow cytometry applications
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related field
- Experience in flow core lab facility
- Familiarity with GLP and/or medical device product development
