Sr. Scientist - Integrative Metabolic Biology

Responsibilities
- Mammalian cell culture and engineering
- Analysis of mitochondrial, metabolic, immune signaling phenotypes in cells and tissues
- Standard cell and molecular biology techniques (qPCR, flow cytometry, molecular cloning, western blot, IP/co-IP/ChIP, etc.)
- Mouse tumor studies, including immunophenotyping
- Confocal, electron and other imaging modalities as needed
- Generation, analysis and interpretation of -OMICS data (RNA/DNA/protein/metabolic)
- Integration of datasets
- Team science/collaborative research
- Carry out and coordinate multiple projects in parallel
- Train other team members
Requirements
PhD degree in cancer biology or related field; or equivalent combination of degree and experience
Minimum 8 years of relevant post-doctoral experience
Qualifications
Experience with melanoma tumor models
Experience in analyzing tumor immune responses
Experience in nucleic acid biology, biochemistry and signaling
Skills
Fine motor movements in fingers/hands to operate computers and other office equipment
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling or reaching
Exposure and handling of laboratory animals
Laboratory atmosphere - possible exposure to chemical, biological or other hazardous substances
Benefits
Annualized Salary Range: $156,850 - $196,050
