As a Senior Scientist, Biochemistry & Clinical Translation, you’ll play a critical role within Research & Development (R&D), leading hypothesis-driven research that translates early stage innovation into meaningful outcomes for pet health, product innovation, and business impact.
Requirements
- PhD in Biochemistry, molecular biology, animal science or a related scientific discipline
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)/DVM equivalent or experience in applying science to animal health and nutrition
- 8+ years of experience in academia, or clinical research with a focus on translational science
- 5+ years of experience in biochemistry with experience in biomarker research, metabolic pathways, multi-omics integration and systems biology
- 3+ years of experience conducting hypothesis-driven research from design through execution and interpretation
Qualifications
- Scientific and technical expertise is preferred
- Leadership and proven collaboration abilities is preferred
- Communication and proven impact within an organization is preferred
Pay
The approximate pay range for this position is $97000 to $133000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
