Sr. Sales Commission Analyst

About the role
The Sr. Sales Commission Analyst will work with Sales Management, Sales Operations, and Finance to ensure that Supermicro incentive commission plans are implemented correctly and commissions are paid accurately. The primary responsibility is the calculation of monthly incentive commissions for all sales employees, focusing on accuracy, completeness, and consistency as defined in the commission plans. The ideal candidate is analytical, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of commission discrepancies and data anomalies
- Distribution of commission-related reports to management and sales personnel
- Assistance with month-end close financial reporting and analysis
- Assistance with internal process improvement initiatives
- General reporting on sales and business operations statistics
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years in a Finance/Accounting role
- Experience in automated sales commissions systems and their setup and operation is a plus (e.g., Xactly, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Ability to organize and summarize large volumes of detailed information
- Ability to work under pressure
Pay
Salary range: $134,000 – $143,000. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
