About the role

The Sr. Robotics Software Engineer, System Integration is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex robotic systems. This role requires expertise in software development, system integration, and robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance robotic systems using C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers to integrate robotic systems into larger projects.
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing on robotic systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Document design decisions, test results, and implementation details to facilitate maintenance and future enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics software development.
  • Experience with C++ and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Strong understanding of robotics concepts and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience with embedded systems and hardware interfacing.
  • Knowledge of sensor technologies and their integration into robotic systems.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and their application to robotic systems.

Skills

  • Proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
