About the Role

The Retirement Plan Operations Specialist Senior provides day-to-day client service and administrative support to plan sponsors and the back office operations, processing defined contribution and benefit plan transactions. Working under limited supervision, this job is responsible for asset management operations processes pertinent to retirement plan processing, settlements and record maintenance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Facilitates a variety of administrative tasks in support of retirement plan operations.
  • Prepares and reconciles retirement plan accounts and ensures proper documentation.
  • Resolves account related issues and implements process improvements to prevent reoccurring issues.
  • Runs reports and audits for on-site and off-site storage for retirement plan systems.
  • Ensures an adequate supply of forms are ordered and storage space are available for use.
  • Manages records of data storage utilization, back-up and maintenance procedures, and recommends procedural improvements.
  • Engages with plan participants and delivers support regarding various issues.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.
  • No experience required; 2+ years preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work.
  • Career Level: 3IC.

Required Skills

  • Experience in financial services industry.
  • Experience in Recordkeeping (Preferably Omni Recordkeeping) systems.

Preferred Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services industry.
  • Experience with distribution and operations.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $20.14/hr - $28.61/hr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
