About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Research Associate, Process Development to join an innovative and growing pharmaceutical company in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute process development studies supporting the optimization and standardization of pluripotent stem cell-derived cell therapy manufacturing processes.
- Utilize expertise in qPCR and Flow Cytometry to assess laboratory assays for scale-up and tech transfer.
- Perform hands-on human pluripotent stem cell/iPSC culture and differentiation activities.
- Support the development of robust, reproducible, scalable, and GMP-ready processes for future clinical manufacturing.
- Execute experiments designed to evaluate and optimize process parameters, culture conditions, raw materials, reagents, and differentiation methods.
- Support activities associated with process scale-up, process characterization, and eventual technology transfer to a CDMO.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical research and process development.
- Hands-on experience with stem cell/iPSC culture and differentiation.
- 1-3+ years of experience supporting cell therapy process development, scale-up, process characterization, or technology transfer.
- 1-3+ years of experience working in or supporting processes transitioning from research/preclinical development toward GMP manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a scientific field.
Pay
Salary range is $85,000 – $105,000, dependent upon experience.
