Sr. Regulatory Engineering Technician

About the role

The Sr. Regulatory Technician supports Regulatory Engineers by performing regulatory compliance testing, maintaining lab equipment, and mentoring entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform regulatory compliance testing on tools, batteries, and other products
• Use a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and follow test procedures
• Interpret regulatory tests using standards, datasheets, and operational documents
• Record, analyze, and report test results
• Create, modify, and maintain test setups and fixtures
• Coordinate improvement efforts for the lab
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Technical Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical experience
• 3-5 years related experience
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Skilled in electrical and mechanical fabrication
• Proficiency with electronic and mechanical test equipment, including DMMs, DAQs, oscilloscopes, current clamps, torque wrenches, and mechanical probes
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products
• Able to organize and communicate effectively
• Experience with PLCs (optional)

Qualifications
