Lead small and large New Product Development (NPD) projects from start to finish, coordinate Design History File (DHF) transfers, drive and support the development of new products, manage expansion projects for existing products, and provide support for on-market products. Ensure teams meet cost, schedule, and performance targets while adhering to design controls and the Product Development process. Present status updates to Senior Management as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Execute project management skills, including defining project tasks, plans, and resource requirements.
  • Demonstrate adherence to global PMO practices and templates (e.g., on-boarding, kickoff meetings, communication plans, standardized minutes, agendas, timetables, pre-meetings, project plans, project charters, risk registers/RAID logs, Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structure).
  • Coordinate, drive, and manage service delivery issues through internal alignment to solutions and timelines, including external communication to clients.
  • Initiate proactive discussions with stakeholders to align expectations and develop relationships.
  • Assemble and report program metrics, communicating program status and deliverables to management and project teams.
  • Prepare and maintain key client performance reports, analytics, and metrics for each project component, ensuring accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Support PMO initiatives to define and establish best practices.
  • Train and mentor cross-functional teams on PMO tools and guide other program and project managers.
  • Support business portfolio planning, development, and prioritization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex NPD, business, commercial, or operations projects in the medical device industry.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting, planning, tracking, organization, attention to detail, and managing competing priorities.
  • Analytical and critical thinking with sound engineering fundamentals.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Pay

The annualized base salary range for this role is $138,000 - $230,000, with bonus eligibility. Final compensation depends on factors such as relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs, and market demand.
