Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience
  Degree required: Engineering
• Experience characterizing aerodynamics of high velocity aerospace systems using CFD
  Experienced conducting wind tunnel tests for aerodynamic analysis and characterization

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Experience characterizing aerodynamics of high velocity aerospace systems using CFD
  Experienced conducting wind tunnel tests for aerodynamic analysis and characterization
  Skilled in creating aerodynamic databases for 3- and 6-DoF performance models
  Expertise with aerodynamic prediction tools like PRODAS or Missile Datcom

Responsibilities

• Create CFD models to evaluate flight performance across various Mach regimes
  Conduct a range of CFD analyses to model performance across various physics conditions
  Conduct aerodynamic trade studies using predictive tools like PRODAS and Missile Datcom
  Develop aerodynamic models for use in performance simulations and trajectory analysis
  Support development of wind tunnel tests programs in support of aerodynamic characterization
  Streamline modeling procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in analysis workflows
  Perform parametric and optimization studies to refine designs and system performance
  Develop design and operating guidelines to support consistent and effective processes
  Create and review technical documentation, reports, specifications, and design calculations

Qualifications

• Proficient in MATLAB and Python scripting with experience in Simulink modeling tools
  Experience utilizing HPC environments to increase modeling and analysis throughput
