Sr. Quality Manager

DSJ Global is partnering with a leading food and beverage manufacturer on a search for a Senior Quality Manager. This opportunity offers the chance to join a large-scale, high-volume manufacturing operation committed to food safety, quality excellence, and continuous improvement. The Senior Quality Manager will lead all aspects of quality assurance, food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality systems for a complex manufacturing facility. This individual will serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, driving a culture of quality while ensuring compliance with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for quality assurance, food safety, sanitation, and compliance programs within a large manufacturing environment
• Ensure adherence to FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and customer-specific requirements
• Lead customer, regulatory, third-party, and internal audits while maintaining audit readiness at all times
• Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality, food safety performance, and operational effectiveness
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals, supervisors, and technicians
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve performance metrics
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D to support production goals and business objectives
• Oversee customer complaint investigations, quality-related incidents, and risk mitigation efforts
• Analyze quality KPIs and identify opportunities to strengthen quality systems and processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
• 8+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within food and beverage manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, and audit management
• Proven experience leading quality teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
