Sr. Quality Manager
About the role
The Senior Quality Manager leads the quality systems and processes at a Carrier manufacturing facility, ensuring product and process conformance to standards while driving a strong quality culture.
Responsibilities
- Leads the quality management systems and their compliance.
- Ensures product and process quality across the operation.
- Manages internal/external audits and ISO 9001 certification.
- Leads and develops the quality team.
- Drives quality problem-solving (8D, root-cause analysis).
- Owns quality KPIs (PPM, COPQ, FTY) and improvement plans.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of quality experience, including 3+ years leading quality teams.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical or Quality Engineering or a related field, strong command of quality management systems, core tools and ISO 9001, experience managing internal/external audits and achieving/maintaining certification, proven ability to lead quality problem-solving (8D, root-cause analysis) and drive corrective actions, track record improving quality KPIs (PPM, COPQ, FTY), Six Sigma Black Belt or Lead Auditor certification, experience in high-growth or fast-paced manufacturing environments, strong leadership and results orientation.
Pay
The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
