Responsibilities
- Performs inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.
- Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies.
- Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies.
- Reviews and reports performance data. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.
- Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.
- May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associates degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 requirements.
- Must be able to interpret/ follow documents such as: Drawings, Procedures, Engineering Change (EOs) Work Orders and Work Instructions.
- Ability to work with measurements and math.
- Knowledgeable of assembly practices and requirements.
- Interface, with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Internal Customers.
Qualifications

- One-year certificate in a quality related field from college or technical school desired.

Pay
The salary range for this role in California is $75,000 - $139,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
