Responsibilities
- Maintain and track data collection and performance measures to assess performance and report to funders
- Perform audits, monitoring reviews, and other quality assurance activities, including leading annual program audits of Early Head Start (EHS) providers and other Domestic Programs
- Prepare and disseminate reports and findings of quality assurance monitoring, including standard visit or desk audit report, corrective action plans, and recommendations for improvement
- Interpret policies, provide CQI guidance, offer technical assistance, and support quality assurance for Domestic Program Services staff, with specialized support for Early Head Start providers and program teams
- Assess progress toward compliance, review compliance and performance data, and support resolution of identified findings and improvement opportunities with program staff and service providers
- Identify data collection gaps or data integrity issues and communicate findings to EHS team members, when applicable
- Utilize various information management systems and assessment tools to meet essential functions of position
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives to strengthen program compliance outcomes across Domestic Program Services
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members
- Attend and actively participate in events, training, staff meetings, etc., as required
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects and priorities, work under pressure, adapt to change, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, take initiative, handle repetitive tasks, have follow-through, and follow instructions where applicable
- Operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage
Requirements
- Bachelor’s level degree in Human Services or related field of study from an accredited college
- Master’s degree, preferred
- At least three (3) years of experience in compliance and auditing of social service programs, preferred
- At least two (2) years’ experience supporting Quality Assurance and conducting quality improvement projects
- At least two (2) years’ experience with Head Start or similar programs
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, required
- Valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- Must pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
