Sr Python Engineer

About the role

This is an 8-month contract role that will be hybrid, based in Milwaukee, Wi.

Responsibilities

- Define and automate data masking processes for end users. - Work with architects on creating feature roadmaps and developing services used in data masking. - Implement feature requests from clients. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs. - Develop microservices to automate data masking processes. - Work with a team to build out microservices that take backups into a masking environment and perform necessary operations for data obfuscation.

Requirements

- Expert proficiency in the Python programming language. - Experience with AWS basics. - Proficiency with RESTful API and knowledge of OpenAPI Specification. - Database experience (primarily relational). - Proficiency in Linux and idempotent distributed software development (Kubernetes, Docker, EKS). - CICD/GitLab knowledge. - Agile Scrum skills.

Qualifications

- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues independently. - Experience working in a scrum team using agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).

Skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Expert proficiency in the Python programming language. - Experience with technologies and services within the AWS Cloud portfolio.
