SR. PSYCHOLOGIST, CF (SPECIALIST) - WASCO STATE PRISON (WSP)

Duty Statement

The Senior Psychologist, Correctional Facility (CF) (Specialist) performs as the clinical systems expert and provides psychological consultation relating to the institution’s health care performance management programs and processes. The incumbent serves as an advisor to institution executives, and acts as a liaison with the Statewide Quality Officer and Quality Management Section staff, statewide executives in various disciplines, other institution Chief Quality Officers (CQO), and other stakeholder groups as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Psychology or related field
• Valid California Psychological Clinical Supervisor License (PSCL)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a correctional setting
• Experience in clinical supervision and consultation
• Knowledge of correctional health care systems and policies
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population

Skills

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

Pay

Salary range: $64,000 - $88,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week.
