Sr. Property Manager (Floater)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Floating Property Manager for one of our Manufactured Housing communities. This role focuses on community management, resident retention/relations, and daily operations. You will be responsible for selling and renting homes, as well as leasing lots to individuals who purchase homes outside of our company. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service, with a long-term professional outlook.

Responsibilities

• Attract tenants through advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals, explaining community advantages, and showing units.
• Achieve financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain the property by resolving tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting and repairing vacant units, planning renovations, and contracting landscaping and snow removal services.
• Secure the property by maintaining security devices, establishing precautionary policies, and responding to emergencies.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits.
• Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership of new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in Multi-Family Property Management.
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Sales motivation, including meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, territory management, closing skills, prospecting, and professionalism.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test.
• Positive attitude with a desire to learn and excel in both team and independent work environments.
