About the role

The Property Manager is responsible for managing a manufactured housing community, focusing on community management, resident relations, and daily operations. Key responsibilities include attracting tenants, collecting rents, managing repairs, securing the property, and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

  • Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.
  • Achieves financial objectives by collecting rents, paying bills, forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action.
  • Maintains the property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
  • Secures the property by maintaining security devices, establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, and responding to emergencies.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
  • Contracts with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposits.

Requirements
