Sr. Project Surveyor
What You'll Do
- Cook up and supervise survey projects from inception to completion, working closely with clients to nail down scope, estimates, schedules, approvals, and delivery milestones.
- Direct the execution of boundary, topographic, photogrammetric, construction, and GPS control surveys.
- Perform QA/QC reviews, including post-processing quality checks to maintain precision and compliance.
- Organize, schedule, and oversee multiple field crews, ensuring safety, efficiency, and thorough documentation of field operations.
- Partner with survey managers, engineers, and planners across the company on proposals, pursuits, and active projects.
- Support the creation of qualification materials and prepare survey deliverables, aligning with client needs and expectations.
What You Bring
- A high school diploma or an A.A.S. or B.S. in surveying or a related field (required if not professionally licensed).
- A minimum of 15 years of related survey experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D (MicroStation experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to represent the firm professionally with clients and the public.
- The ability to travel as needed.
- A Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required unless holding a B.S. from an accredited survey program.
- A valid U.S. driver's license.

Salary Range
$50.48 - $57.69 per hour
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
