About the role

Lead, plan, and manage all phases of electrical construction projects, including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with company safety policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, field operations, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.
Monitor project performance, track progress, and implement corrective actions when required to maintain project goals.
Prepare, review, and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and cost reports.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentor-ship to project teams and field personnel.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure safe and successful execution.
Foster strong client relationships through regular communication, transparency, and exceptional service.
Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and recommending operational efficiencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 7–10 years of project management experience in electrical construction or a related heavy industrial sector.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale or complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and develop teams.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking with a focus on delivering results.

Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and cost-control systems.

Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area.

PMP certification required within 60 days of hire.

USD $180,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
