Responsibilities

  • Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
  • Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
  • Aid in obtaining permits, adhering to deadlines, and adjusting the proposed schedule as needed.
  • Create and implement project-specific processes and procedures.
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities.
  • Manage project costs through ongoing evaluations of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Interact with various company departments to address issues.
  • Act as the liaison between clients, the company, subcontractors, and government officials.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety measures, procedures, and requirements.
  • Ensure substantial completion as per specifications.
  • Assist in submitting record drawings, maintenance manuals, and warranties for a smooth closeout process.

What It Takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.
  • 7-10+ years of relevant work experience in the electrical industry or a combination of experience and coursework.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
