Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Implementations reporting to the Senior Manager, Professional Services Implementation & Deployment, to lead complex, customer-facing implementation and migration projects across our legacy and next-generation flight planning products, including our JetPlan Engine platform migration program moving customers off unsupported legacy hardware and operating systems onto current, supported infrastructure. As a Senior Project Manager, you will own the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and delivery of multi-workstream implementation and migration projects, coordinating across Development, Deployment Specialists, Quality Assurance, and the customer's own technical team to move complex, production flight-planning systems safely from legacy infrastructure onto our current platforms. A successful candidate is comfortable being the connective tissue across engineering, deployment, and the customer on a technically complex, high-stakes project, tracking schedule, risk, and dependencies with equal rigor. You're equally comfortable running a detailed cutover plan, presenting a clear status update to executive stakeholders, and keeping several concurrent migrations on track at once. You either know legacy-to-modern infrastructure migrations already, or you're eager to learn the space quickly. Key Responsibilities Own project planning, scheduling, and status reporting for one or more complex implementation and migration projects, from kickoff through go-live and into early production support handoffBuild and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), and cutover/go-live runbooks for each migrationCoordinate across Development, Deployment Specialists, Quality Assurance, and Support to sequence and de-risk cutover activities for production systems that cannot tolerate extended downtimeManage and track project status in Salesforce, keeping stakeholders and leadership current on schedule, risk, and blockersLead recurring customer- and internal-facing status meetings, translating technical migration details into clear, actionable updates for both technical and executive stakeholdersCoordinate go-live/cutover events directly with customer technical teams, including scheduling maintenance windows and validating post-cutover system healthIdentify and escalate schedule, resource, or technical risks early, and drive mitigation plans to closureSupport post-go-live stabilization and a clean handoff to ongoing supportPartner with Product, Support, and other internal teams to resolve issues and escalations surfaced during a migrationTravel to customer sites on occasion, as needed Basic Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex, technical implementation or migration projects, ideally including production system cutoversExperience managing multi-stakeholder projects spanning internal engineering/deployment teams and external customer technical teamsStrong technical aptitude, comfortable understanding infrastructure migration concepts (e.g., legacy operating system to Linux platform migrations) well enough to plan and sequence around them, without requiring a software engineering backgroundExperience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM/project-tracking toolExcellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting project status to both technical teams and executive stakeholdersStrong critical thinking and risk-management skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate schedule and technical risk before it becomes a problemWillingness to learn and apply AI-powered tools to accelerate project tracking, status reporting, and cross-team coordination; prior hands-on experience with AI tools is a plusAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and prioritize independently Preferred Qualifications PMP or a comparable project management certificationExperience in airline operations, flight dispatch, or aviation technologyExperience coordinating international, multi-time-zone customer implementationsBackground in client or account management, with the ability to translate customer needs into a project planComfort working across time zones with international customers About Jeppesen ForeFlight Jeppesen ForeFlight is a leading provider of innovative aviation software solutions, serving the Commercial, Business, Military, and General Aviation sectors globally.
