Sr Project Manager II(PMP Cert,MS Office) - HYBRID

Responsibilities

• Managing projects for large scale implementations
• Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
• Gathering and updating deliverables, project materials, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents
• Speaking to details of the project to both the business and technical teams from beginning to end of all projects
• Managing cross-functional interdependencies
• Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time
• Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required
• Representing status to client and Optum leadership
• Addressing project challenges with key client personnel and within Optum

Requirements

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• 3+ years of client facing experience
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of working hands‑on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
• 2+ years of experience in project management for a State Medicaid Agency or a large healthcare management organization
• Client facing experience with State Medicaid agency and ability to successfully resolve issues

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience with Integrated Eligibility project
• 2+ years experience with project in the M&O phase of the project lifecycle

Skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
