Sr Project Manager II
About the role
Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a customer-facing Senior Project Manager to report to the Senior Manager of Implementation. This US remote opportunity involves managing multiple customer software implementation projects and programs across the Americas, mentoring junior Project Managers, and traveling between company offices globally and to various customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Apply project/program management and customer guiding experience while adapting to Jeppesen’s best practices framework to deliver project goals.
- Create and maintain project and program schedules by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, milestones, tasks, deliverables, customer requirements, task dependencies, and critical paths.
- Provide cross-functional leadership, direction, and integration of activities with other departments, Boeing and Jeppesen vendors, and partners to ensure successful implementation and support.
- Facilitate, roll out, and continuously improve project management best practices while mentoring junior Project Managers.
- Anticipate and identify risks and issues that may impact implementation and develop mitigation and corrective actions.
- Ensure projects remain focused on key objectives and goals, managing scope and expectations across all applicable functional areas in Boeing and Jeppesen.
- Use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring engagement and understanding.
- Ensure proper change management procedures are followed to manage scope and capture additional work for appropriate billing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of project management experience.
- 5+ years of customer/client-facing experience.
- Ability to travel 20-40% of the time.
- Spanish fluency is required.
Qualifications
- Experience managing complex technical software implementation projects for external customers.
- Strong business acumen and relationship skills to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
- Aviation industry expertise, ideally in crew management solutions.
- Experience applying Scrum and Agile principles to improve project delivery.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project; Primavera experience is a plus.
- Multilingualism is an asset (e.g., French).

Pay
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $122,000.00–$150,000.00.
