About the role

An established, employee-owned heavy civil contractor is expanding its Texas operations and is adding a Senior Project Manager to support multiple large, complex infrastructure projects. This is a growth-driven role, not a backfill - with long-term backlog and visibility into upcoming work.

This role is ideal for a Senior PM who wants: Project scale without chaos, Stability without stagnation, Leadership without corporate bureaucracy.

Responsibilities

Full ownership of major projects from early phases through execution, Leadership of PMs, Superintendents, and project teams, Direct interaction with owners, engineers, and internal leadership, Strategic problem-solving rather than constant fire-drills, Ability to influence how work is executed - not just react to it.

Requirements

Heavy civil, pipeline, plant, or infrastructure construction experience, Experience on large-dollar projects where planning and leadership matter, Candidates from pipeline, plant, heavy highway, or complex civil environments are all considered, Technical gaps can be taught - judgment, leadership, and communication cannot.

Pay

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year
