About the role
We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Sr. Project Manager- Healthcare Buildings who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at a client site in the Los Angeles area, you’ll report directly to the Program Manager and work alongside other project managers. You’ll be responsible for the overall project delivery and management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.
As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll manage and provide construction oversight to OARs, resolve complex construction project-related issues, disputes, and disagreements. You’ll ensure the progress and technical performance of a project, as well as material management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety of the team. You’ll provide leadership and direction to project engineers and construction teams, fostering professional growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee overall project delivery from conception through completion
- Manage project development in alignment with program objectives
- Provide construction oversight to OARs and resolve complex construction-related issues
- Ensure progress, technical performance, material management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety of the project
- Lead and direct project engineers and construction teams
- Foster professional growth and development within the team
- Manage vendor procurements, change order negotiation, budget, and schedule
- Oversee operational governance, client satisfaction, and management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and significant related experience
- 12+ years of related design and construction project management experience with education or healthcare buildings
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components, and technology
- Experience with contract management (GMP/lump sum) and project delivery methods
- Proven skills in team building and client relationship building

- Design Assist Delivery experience
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $150,500.00 to $227,400.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
