Sr. Project Manager - Federal Interiors - Gaithersburg, MD

Description

Lead multiple federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships.
Oversee project teams, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure successful project execution.
Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations.
Manage risk, procurement activities, change orders, and project reporting.
Maintain strong communication with clients and internal leadership teams.
Support business objectives through successful delivery of complex government construction projects.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of federal government contracting experience.
• Commercial General Contractor experience required.
• Federal construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working within the Pentagon or similar secure federal environments preferred.
• Qualified and approved to work within Pentagon facilities is highly desirable.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to successfully pass background investigations and security requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, financial management, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing large, complex construction projects within government environments.
