Sr. Project Manager (BOND Civil & Utility)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Perform all aspects of project-related cost management
- Aid in the development and maintenance of the construction schedule
- Maintain schedule and collaborate with team and subcontractors to meet milestones
- Successfully perform take-offs and budgets for estimates up to or around $25M
- Collaborate on larger estimates
- Aid in developing, tracking, and completing the project QA/QC program
- Implement the company’s Safety Program and demonstrate safety leadership
- Identify project issues and escalate to next level of management as necessary
- Develop strong relationships with clients by constant communication of schedules, financials, and construction progress
- Identify and anticipate project risks and opportunities, develop plans to mitigate or capture those identified
- Participate or lead in claims or complex change resolutions
- Develop new work leads and opportunities with clients and provide commercial insights as required
- Keep management informed by providing monthly cost reports including forecasting of labor and subcontractor exposure
- Foster and promote the growth of junior staff members, providing them with mentorship, training, and development opportunities
- Manage project level controls, such as document control, specification review, RFIs, submittals, and work-planning collaboration
WHAT YOU BRING:
- BS in Engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven management insight to maximize employee productivity and performance
- Complete understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Participation in industry organizations; ability to bring in new client opportunities
- Willingness to travel for work
- Must have software skills and database software experience with Procore, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, InSight Sitework, Primavera P6, MS Office, and MS Project
- OSHA 30-Hour Training
