Sr. Project Manager
About the role
Texas Children’s is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading and managing complex, multi-disciplinary, and enterprise-wide projects to support the hospital’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages multiple complex projects, including business planning and development, strategic planning, financial analysis, development of affiliations and contracts, medical staffing, facilities planning and construction, and operations planning and development.
- Captures and coordinates resources needed for project completion, including data, information, and personnel.
- Maintains regular communication with project stakeholders regarding progress of projects.
- Analyzes issues and data related to projects and presents findings to leadership for effective decision-making.
- Serves as lead and point-person for long-term projects as requested.
- Provides services internal and external requiring a high level of project management and operations expertise.
Requirements
- Required bachelor's degree with a preferred bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field.
- Required 5 years relevant work experience, including 2 years of experience managing medium to large-sized projects.
- A master's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field may substitute for two years of relevant work experience.
