Job Details

  • Spearhead the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing project schedules, resource allocation, and potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee construction planning, ensuring all aspects are in line with project requirements and regulations.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring the best possible terms for the company.
  • Manage project budgets, keeping a close eye on expenditures and making necessary adjustments to avoid cost overruns.
  • Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
  • Foster a collaborative project environment, encouraging open communication and effective teamwork.
  • Implement project management best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
  • Liaise with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives and company goals.
  • Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal impact on project progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience in construction planning, contract negotiation, and budget management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with a knack for securing favorable terms and conditions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
