Role Summary

This position involves managing multiple large-scale and complex technical projects within a professional services environment. The role requires overseeing project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality, scope, schedule, and financial objectives. The project manager will serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, facilitating communication and maintaining strong relationships to drive project success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple large, complex projects with multiple work streams, primarily in federal environments.
  • Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with clear interdependencies and critical paths.
  • Monitor project progress, report on status to stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Create and manage resource plans, ensuring effective allocation and utilization across projects.
  • Implement project management best practices, tools, and techniques to improve execution efficiency.
  • Create and execute communication strategies for internal teams and external clients at all organizational levels.
  • Manage scope changes, risks, and issues proactively to minimize impact on project deliverables and financials.
  • Oversee project financials, including profitability, revenue, margins, and resource utilization, ensuring projects stay within budget.
  • Support quality assurance processes and ensure project deliverables meet organizational and client standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in a professional or managed services environment, specifically leading external customer-facing projects.
  • Proven experience supporting global financial clients, with familiarity in networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, security, or collaboration technologies.
  • Project management experience involving multisite deployments such as wireless, Wi-Fi, or POS systems.
  • PMP and/or CAPM certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to produce and analyze financial reports.
  • Extensive experience in people management, strategic planning, and change management.
  • Demonstrated risk management skills with effective communication to leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project timelines.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and familiarity with tools like Clarity.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and team-building capabilities.
  • Authorized to work remotely in an approved location.

Publishing Pay Range: $65.00 – $67.50 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
