Sr. Project Manager
About the role
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead transformative building design projects in Boston, MA; Albany, NY; or Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of projects from concept to completion, serving clients in various sectors including municipal, institutional, educational, healthcare, housing, industrial, and community-focused facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of building design projects through design and construction administration, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships
- Lead architecture and structural projects across public and private markets
- Serve as a “seller/doer,” developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areas
- Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents
- Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards
- Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the team
- Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or related field
- Minimum of 11 years of industry experience, with at least 8 years of project management experience
- Proven ability to prepare proposals, schedules, budgets, and closeout documentation
- Strong background in client relationship management and responsive communication
- Strong experience with project accounting processes and financial oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in MS Project, Primavera P6, or Deltek Vision preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with collaboration experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong judgment and problem-solving skills
- PMP certification, Professional Engineer (PE), or equivalent professional license preferred

Benefits
