Sr Project Manager
About the Role
The Senior Project Manager position requires at least 10 years of experience in telecommunications cable construction and fiber industry leading teams. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of multiple projects and managing Project Managers while focusing on high levels of planning, delegation, and more. The position requires leadership skills including team building and management across projects. Focus will be on developing project objectives and strategies by assessing how it will impact their department, project, or organization. For each project, they will define and oversee the people and processes needed to reach their targeted goals. At a minimum, the position requires multiple years' experience working in the cable telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to managers of an assigned area, department, or project
- Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project
- Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain talent for team building & development
- Manage multiple projects to completion
- Function effectively in a high-stress situation
- Communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed
- Organize teams to logistically, fundamentally and cohesively blend and work efficiently together
- Work on call schedule and assist with questions after hours; create/maintain the on-call schedule every 6 months
Requirements
- Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience
- Valid state driver's license (non-provisional) with a clean driving record
- At least 10 years of related work experience in telecommunications cable construction and outside plant construction
- Experience with Fiber mapping, design and implementation
- Advanced proficiency in project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
- Ability to professionally interact with internal and external customers
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Problem solver with foresight to get ahead of a situation
- Experience with safety regulations and crew safety gear
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
- Willingness to temporarily fill in for fellow supervisors and senior positions as needed
- Ability to read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Google office suite and Microsoft products such as Excel and Word
